Job Description:

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning non-aseptic areas such as offices, labs, lobby, conference rooms, hallways, warehouses, and lunchrooms. Responsibilities include routine cleaning and responding to management requests.

There are two levels for Custodians: Day Porter and Equipment Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Waste disposal, floor cleaning (carpet, vinyl, VHT, concrete, epoxy), dusting, wiping, restroom cleaning.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, polishers, scrubbers, shampooers).
• Proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to cGMPs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2-5 years related experience preferred.
• Limited/Elementary Vocational education.
• Mechanical aptitude desired.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and chemical labels.
• Ability to meet departmental goals and communicate effectively.
• Corrected near-sighted vision (20/30).
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted.
• Exposure to allergens.
• Work in confined spaces, twisting, pushing, pulling.

Shift:

Weekday Day Shift, Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time, on-site position is located in Spokane, WA.

• Wage: $18.86/hr, with opportunities for growth and raises.
• Shift differential: $2.50/hr.
