Custodian position at SBM Management Services, LP

Description

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join the team as our company grows. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Follow the daily schedule and perform all listed duties
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of the assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Work in a team with other employees and respond to supervision
• Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems and environmental considerations
• Use proper personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• May require a valid driver’s license
• Completion of safety and task training certification
• Forklift certification may be required
• Bilingual is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, compounds, and their safe use
• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation

$18.33–$18.68 per hour

Shifts

• Sun–Mon 5:00am–3:30pm
• Sun–Mon 7:00am–3:30pm
• Tues–Wed 5:00am–3:30pm
• Tues–Wed 7:00am–5:30pm
• Thu–Fri 5:00am–3:30pm
• Thu–Fri 7:00am–5:30pm
