Regular twelve-month position; Monday - Friday; eight hours/day; Split Shift: 6:00am to 10:30am then 1:30pm-5:30pm (three hour break).

Starts: JUNE 2025. Location: Various. Open until filled.

General duties

Performs as working supervisor of a custodial operation. Supervises custodial personnel. Maintains building and premises neat, clean and safe; sweeps and cleans classrooms daily; cleans corridors daily; scrubs and disinfects toilet rooms; opens buildings and checks exit doors; maintains boilers, furnaces and other building equipment; basic painting and plumbing/electrical maintenance; ensures security of building; handles emergencies, temperature regulation, window washing; maintains yard and reports damages and requests to administrator; maintains records for mechanical equipment and payroll/substitute records; remains on premises as required by state boiler regulations.

Pre-employment physicals required and paid by the District.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and supplies; effective supervision methods.
• Abilities: Ability to plan, schedule and supervise work; establish and maintain supervisory/work relationships; communicate effectively; deal with the public.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year of custodial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; boiler license required to apply.

Probationary period: $21.57/hour for 90 work days, then $23.97/hour.
