Grocery Clerk - # 33 Fresno (ages 16-17) at Chedraui USA
Starting Rate $16.50 per hour
Store Location: 3190 E. Tulare St., Fresno, California, 93702, United States
What You’ll Do / Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Clean display cases, shelves and self-serve displays
- Assist customers and support store operations
- Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends; perform heavy lifting as required
What You’ll Bring / Qualifications
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Basic PC/Outlook skills
- Retail Management Certificate
The Opportunity
Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean displays, and perform related duties. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. Must be able to perform heavy lifting, bending and stooping for long periods of time.
