Overview

Weekday Nights Warehouse Forklift Operator position in Smyrna, TN. This is a full-time warehouse opportunity with shifts on the 2nd shift, including possible overtime and Saturdays. Benefits include weekly paychecks and health/dental insurance.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.


• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; inspect assigned equipment daily.


• Operate all equipment safely and in compliance with prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.


• Unload inbound shipments; move product to storage locations; stack and store product in appropriate areas.


• Pull and prepare products for shipment; ensure exact quantity and types are loaded for shipment.


• Move product from staging/storage into rail cars, trailers, or containers; ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.


• Report quality variances; assist in physical inventories; maintain inventory controls and security.


• Ensure proper stock rotation; follow customer requirements to ensure accuracy and safe loading/unloading.


• Coordinate with other departments/functions as necessary (Customer Service, Transportation, Maintenance).


• Perform housekeeping and work safely; report unsafe conditions to leadership; follow GMP and safety rules.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or three+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Must complete post-hire assessments and obtain/maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company certifications).


• Must be able to wear PPE (protective footwear, eyewear, gloves) as required by safety policies.


• Background Check and Drug Test; must be at least 18 years old.


• Work Location: Smyrna, TN (ID Logistics Smyrna, TN, 37167).

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour. Shifts: 2nd Shift (including listed times). Benefits include weekly paychecks, direct deposit or cash card options, medical/dental insurance, and more.
