Job Duties:
- Operate welding equipment.
- Perform Mig, Tig, Flux Core, Stick, and Sub Arc welding.
- Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Read work orders or instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
- Follow welding procedures and review blueprints or instructions for operational methods.
- Feed materials, wire, or products into equipment.
- Load materials into Weld Station.
- Visually examine welds.
- Maintain lot traceability and storage of filler metals.
- Align parts or workpieces for proper assembly.
- Layout parts for assembly preparation.
- Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety rules and attend required meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Regular attendance, including rotating shifts, 24/7 schedules, and overtime, is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 2 years of welding experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and basic drawings.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for interdepartmental collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in welding technology.
- Comprehensive understanding of production welding practices and quality standards.
