Overview

Work Shift and position details are as described by Wellstar Health System. This description provides a summary of the role and expectations.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Clinical Practice of Medicine, Surgery, or Dentistry including the care of patients in outpatient or inpatient settings or both.
• Documentation of clinical care and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions.
• Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education

• A MD, DO, DMD, or DDS degree; licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia; completed the necessary Residency training requisite for the given specialty and board certification or qualification for certification by the respective specialty Board.

Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)

• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Additional License(s) And Certification(s)

• As applicable per specialty; see specific role requirements.

Required Minimum Experience

• Previous practice experience in a Residency Training Program required; prior practice experience in lieu of Residency Training preferred.

Required Minimum Skills

• Skills commensurate with the given specialty; applicants are expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
