About The Position
HealthPartners is currently hiring Dental Hygienists. Pay ranges from $43.34 - $59.44 per hour, depending on qualifications and other factors. Some positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working 15+ hours per week, including medical and dental benefits, vacation and sick leave, 401(k), and CEU reimbursement. Position Details
Position Requirements
- You must be a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Minnesota.
- You must perform all duties within the scope of practice established by Minnesota regulations and the Minnesota Board of Dentistry; for newly established functions, complete credentialing or certification requirements in a reasonable period after appropriate training.
- You must be able to work as part of a team with dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and clerical staff.
Physical Requirements
- Good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods (60 minutes or longer).
- Proficiency in English; additional language proficiency may be required.
Accountabilities
- Work in accordance with Minnesota Board of Dentistry rules and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge and performance of clinical emergency procedures.
- Implement policies, procedures and treatment guidelines.
- Manage patient scheduling to ensure efficient clinic flow.
- Maintain patient-care equipment, supplies and processes.
- Record and maintain accurate patient records using appropriate systems.
- Maintain recall processes in coordination with clerical staff.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Dental Lead or Clinic Management Team.
