Overview

Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital. We are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization. We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. As an RN/LPN your patient to nursing staff ratio is three times lower than the average nursing home. In this role you will be responsible for the following job duties:

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients by providing ADLs, assessing physical and mental status of patients to determine efficacy of treatment and care plan, administer medications, complete all documentation, etc.
• Prepare room preparation and room discharge of patients.
• Answer call lights and provide follow-up to ensure needs are met.
• Answer questions from patients and families or direct them to the appropriate person.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

FTE: 0.0; casual/per diem

Work Schedule: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month — 2 shifts must be a weekend shift.

Salary:

LPN starting rate at $30.41/hour. Base pay rate is based off previous LPN work experience.

RN starting rate at $39.21/hour. Base pay rate is based off previous RN work experience.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Currently licensed as an LPN or RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Current CPR Card Certification
