We are looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist who loves building and maintaining positive relationships with patients to join our team. We are seeking a FT Dental Hygienist M-Th 8-5, Friday 8-1 pm in a Pediatric office. Our team of dental hygienists performs preventative dental procedures and educates patients on oral hygiene. You’ll help patients achieve and maintain their best smiles, teach oral hygiene techniques, and offer counseling on nutrition and its impact on oral health.
We are big on teamwork, partnering with the dentist(s) to provide the best treatment for patients. We also have a dedicated dental hygiene support team for coaching and mentorship. We offer a comprehensive benefits program, excellent compensation, and a lucrative incentive plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of fluoride and sealants
- Accurately chart and review patient dental history, periodontal health, and document provided treatment; handle patient records securely per HIPAA regulations
- Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
- Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by the dental practice act

Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal communication skills with patients and staff
- Ability to travel between locations preferred
