• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Leadership
• Location: Rockford, IL 61108 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Position Type: Permanent, Direct Hire
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Salary Range: $51.86 - $75.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2300 per week
• Start Date: September 15, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• At least 2 years of clinical leadership experience preferred
• Experience with all surgical case types in a major surgery setting
• CNOR certification preferred

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the 24-hour operation of perioperative clinical areas
• Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Develop and implement patient care services to achieve departmental and business goals
• Oversee financial, capital, and human resources for quality and productivity
• Coordinate and implement policies and procedures for consistent surgical operations
• Promote quality-driven, cost-effective resource utilization in perioperative nursing
