Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800 - $1840 (estimated)

Telemetry RN Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina 28801
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient overflow unit (medical-surgical and step-down patients)
• Unit Details: 20 beds, mixed acuity, quick turnover, short stay (24-hour LOS)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 – End: 3/23/2026)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to other hospital units as needed
• Dress Code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry and progressive care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for healthcare jobs)
• Telemetry competency and clinical proficiency
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Telemetry RN Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data using hardwired bedside monitors
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Manage quick patient turnover and short-stay admissions in a fast-paced unit
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations
• Demonstrate compassion, teamwork, and professionalism in all nursing duties
