Travel ICU RN position in Keene, New Hampshire. Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You will provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support patient safety and high-acuity care standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
  • Administer complex medications and treatments according to critical care nursing techniques
  • Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
  • Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (e.g., arterial lines, CVP, pulmonary artery catheters)
  • Educate patients and families about the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and training
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU outcomes and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned within scope
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Required
  • One year of recent ICU RN experience
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
  • TNCC, NIHSS certification
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and use PC skills
  • Physical ability to move and assist with equipment (50-100 lbs)

  • Visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
