ER RN Job Details – Pasco, WA

• Location: Pasco, WA 99301 (Tri-Cities, Washington healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Emergency Department (ER)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit Size: 10-bed ER
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Medication Management: Omnicell
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state or compact state (WA nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
• Submission of resume, self-assessment, and skills checklist required
• Must live more than 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel nurse status

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse conditions (orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, traumatic brain injuries)
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care in Meditech EHR system
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other units as needed
