Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ER RN experience preferred)
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Ability to pass all required health screenings and competency tests
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care, trauma response, and triage
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Accurately document patient care and maintain up-to-date medical records
• Educate and support patients and their families during emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
