The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure efficient and safe production operations.
• Assist operators with operational duties as needed.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance on schedule with attention to detail.
• Learn new processes and maintenance activities as new equipment comes online; assist in installation and setup of new equipment.
• Participate in equipment modifications and upgrades as needed.
• Work with safety and quality teams to ensure high standards during maintenance activities.
• Attend daily shift change meetings and communicate updates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical trade school preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment; food-related experience is a plus.
• Positive, solution-focused attitude; ability to read technical manuals and schematics; proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of forklifts and personnel lifts; ability to decide return-to-service of production equipment.
• Strong communication, math, and computer skills; ability to work overtime as required.

Working conditions

• Industrial food manufacturing environment
• 2-2-3 night shift schedule; 12-hour shifts; 600pm-630am

Physical requirements

• Physically fit to conduct repair and preventive maintenance; wear required PPE; access all plant areas
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
• Maintain documentation of work orders and maintenance activities; assist in maintaining inventory

Compensation and benefits
