- Inspect, reject, or accept product according to visual standard, dimensional, and other requirements.
- Validation/PV testing of product according to specification and other procedural requirements
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, reject, or accept product according to visual standard, dimensional, and other requirements.
- Validation/PV testing of product according to specification and other procedural requirements
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of quality control experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Factory environment with large range in temperature changes
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
- Use of Forklifts
- Travel less than 10%
- Dependability/Attendance
- Detail oriented
- Basic math
- Ability to use computer for data entry and learn Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to learn API Q1 and/or ISO 9001 principles.
- Ability to accurately use scales, calipers, ruler, depth gauge.
- Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
- Ability to learn technical repair and guidelines and procedures across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
