Location and Schedule

Work Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 4pm - 4am, with rotating weekends

Job Title

Operator I, Lettershop

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance of mail production machines.
• Able to operate mail production machine(s) independently for all types of mailing/lettershop jobs.
• Able to set up basic jobs, consistently achieve expected throughput/throughput, and run 100% mail well for critical clients.
• Troubleshoot mailing, inserting, folding equipment and provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards.
• Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements.
• Reconciling/recording for all output.
• Accurately use job data capture to track time.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a lettershop doing production work with mail or related production/manufacturing work experience.
• Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
• High School/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets.
• Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
• Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) may be required for specific job functions.

Security Clearance

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
