Shift Hours: 7:00pm-7:30am (2-2-3 Schedule)
Essential Job Functions
- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) in warehouse or production areas (including hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
- Adhere to food quality and food safety standards (e.g., SQF) as provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies.
- Acquire in-depth operational knowledge of the assigned line’s operating equipment and related ancillary or offline equipment.
- Adhere to the production schedule and communicate with the Supervisor regarding problems or changes as necessary.
- Monitor the production line for defects (e.g., downed bottles/cans, low fills, faulty packaging, damage, misaligned labels) and identify raw material issues that could impact quality, efficiency, or waste.
- Monitor finished product and/or cases for proper closures/seams, date/product codes, and packaging integrity.
- Perform changeovers efficiently and accurately, following SOPs and reading imperial/metric measurements.
- Record necessary information for production and quality records; maintain downtime reports and documentation.
- Perform end-of-shift duties to ensure smooth transition for the next shift.
- Collaborate with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies and yields, and eliminate out-of-spec or damaged product; foster a positive team environment.
- Have a practical understanding of SQF and HACCP and address inquiries related to both.
- Read and adhere to a production schedule; communicate deviations and respond to inquiries as needed.
- Maintain production flow by monitoring upstream/downstream issues, supplying raw materials, and performing minor servicing when needed.
- Follow all Quality Control and Production line SOPs.
- Use visual and auditory cues to identify production or machine-related issues.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Perform minor machine maintenance and daily/weekly preventive maintenance.
Required Skills
- Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment; ability to operate and troubleshoot required manufacturing equipment independently and efficiently.
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts and related technical issues.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Forklift certification may be required.

Education and Experience
- High School Certification or equivalent (GED)
- 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience
Working Conditions
- Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required. Overtime as needed.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced production plant with moving parts; hearing protection required; temperatures can vary. Structured and supervised with targets and schedules.
Travel Requirements
- Travel anticipated: Rarely
Physical Requirements
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and other exertions as described in the job posting.
