Housekeeping Supervisor Opportunity at Riverview Village

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing residents, staff and the public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct housekeeping and laundry operations; lead, motivate, and supervise housekeeping and laundry aides; ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming environments for residents and staff.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and supervise staff and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work toward the goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength, and endurance to perform cleaning and laundry tasks.
  • Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Requirements: Demonstrates CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence) with residents, families, customers and staff.
  • One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
