Job Description

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team!

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll be responsible for performing routine housekeeping duties in the cleaning and servicing of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
• Inspects sleeping and meeting rooms when appropriate and informs Housekeeping Supervisor of any issues
• Ensures guest privacy and security
• Conducts continual inspections of sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas to determine the resort\'s overall level of cleanliness; performs follow-ups
• Advises on the need for maintenance work orders related to replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Understands laundry equipment and assists in completing laundry duties
• Attends to guest calls and requests when needed
• Promotes a positive image of the property to guests; must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and issues
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction scores
• Removes trash and soiled linens
• Checks for proper bed configurations and makes beds
• Dusts rooms and furniture
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
• Replenishes amenities according to operational standards
• Delivers and retrieves items on loan to guests
• Ensures security of guest rooms and guest privacy
• Performs rotational cleaning duties
• Attends to guest calls and requests in assigned area
• Provides turndown service as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years in hospitality industry
• Physical mobility and stamina
• Professional attitude
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure
• Extended long hours may be required
• Adherence to all property policies and practices
• Punctuality and reliability

Job Type: Part-Time
