Job Description

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Seasonal Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll be responsible for performing routine housekeeping duties in the cleaning and servicing of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
• Inspect sleeping and meeting rooms when appropriate and inform Housekeeping Supervisor of any issues
• Ensure guest privacy and security
• Conduct continual inspections of sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas to determine the resort's overall level of cleanliness; performs follow-ups
• Advise on the need for maintenance work orders for replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Understand laundry equipment and assist in the completion of laundry duties
• Attend to guest calls and requests when needed
• Promote a positive image of the property to guests; be pleasant, honest, and able to address guest requests and issues
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction scores
• Remove trash and soiled linens
• Check for proper bed configurations and make beds
• Dust the room and furniture
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Replenish amenities according to operational standards
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Perform rotational cleaning duties
• Attend to guest calls and requests in assigned area
• Provide turndown service as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school education or equivalency
• Minimum 1-2 years in Hospitality Industry
• Requires physical mobility and stamina
• Professional attitude; able to follow directions
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Maintain composure under pressure
• Extended long hours sometimes required
• Adhere to all property policies and practices
• Report to work punctually and regularly
• Work safely and meet productivity standards
• Adhere to grooming and uniform standards
• Foster high standards and enthusiasm
