Position Summary

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections, as well as assuming all Executive Housekeeper's functions in his/her absence. You will supervise daily operations in maintaining the sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and pool/health club. You may supervise laundry operations, recommend procedural changes, and monitor inventories and expenses. This industry operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.

Physical requirements include exerting physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 25 pounds, pushing/pulling carts and equipment up to 100 pounds, and working in various environments with variable temperature and noise levels. The role involves standing and mobility for extended periods, reaching above head and shoulder height, and working around fumes, odors, dust, mites, biohazards, and chemicals.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Housekeeping Room Attendant; previous supervisory experience preferred
- Skills: Computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
