Overview

Housekeeper Supervisor Trainer - will oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping services including, but not limited to, staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training. Function as primary contact for all Environmental Services (Housekeeping) needs throughout the organization. Ensure services are provided in a timely, consistent and collaborative manner while ensuring standards and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, including staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Environmental Services (Housekeeping) needs throughout the organization.
  • Ensure services are provided in a timely, consistent, and collaborative manner while adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Manage on-site operations on a full-time basis at the main campus, with involvement in weekend coverage as required.

Employment Details

  • Full time – 80 hours onsite at the main campus. Benefits Eligible.
  • Position may require working every other weekend. Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Education and Experience

  • AA degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2) years of work experience in healthcare, hotel, or other equivalent housekeeping experience.
  • At least two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience.
  • Preferred: Ability to train housekeeping staff in healthcare settings.
  • Preferred: Three (3) or more years of work experience as an inpatient unit supervisor in a healthcare environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Health Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Preferred: Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH) or Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH).
  • Preferred: Bilingual skills and experience managing culturally diverse groups of staff.
  • Preferred: Experience with JCAHO, Department of Health, or other regulatory auditing agencies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation Range: $59,155.00 - $88,733.00 per year
  • Salary Information: Compensation range based on full-time employment (2080 hours/year). Offers determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, within the range.
