• Starting rate: $15.00/hr
• Shift premium: $1.50
• Paid weekly

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate molding press/equipment while following company procedures
• Review the “Operator Display Board” prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts
• Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
• Correctly record scrap every hour when instructed
• Correct application of all internal and external labels when required
• Remove old labels from all returnable packaging
• Correct application of lot numbers
• Daily review of all applicable quality alerts
• Notify the Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks
• Report production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication meetings
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Participate in team problem-solving activities
• Follow all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures
• Report to work on time
• Follow all other shop rules, procedures, and policies
• Any and all duties may be updated or changed at any time by management

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing or walking for long periods of time
• Frequent lifting or lowering objects up to 35 lbs
• Frequent reaching above/below the shoulder and forward
• Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching

Working Conditions

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
• The employee must not wear loose-fitting clothing that may get in the way of moving machinery
• Occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Employees may be required to work outside for short periods of time
