Overview
Join to apply for the Manufacturing Technician II - 3rd shift role at Danaher Life Sciences (Radiometer). The role supports operations in Thick Film Manufacturing, including sanding, wiping, and labeling substrate boards and operating high-temperature firing furnaces. This position is onsite in New Brighton, MN and part of the Thick Film Manufacturing Team reporting to the Value Stream Supervisor or Manager. This role is 3rd shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday. Training on 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday) will last 2–3 months.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual tasks such as sanding and cleaning fragile ceramic substrate boards.
- Follow work instructions and perform data entry into electronic routers.
- Load parts into ovens and conveyor furnaces.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to follow written work instructions in English.
Preferred experience
- Medical device manufacturing environment.
- Semi-automated machine operation.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range for this role is $21 - $22/hr. This position is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
