Overview

Performs machine operations on a single machine while producing the desired quality and quantity of parts having shoulders, steps, tapers, threads, unusual contours, exact tolerances, and other precise machining functions. Uses precision measuring instruments necessary to check and maintain accuracy of results. Sets up and maintains the work area, determines proper feeds and speeds while obtaining proper results. Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Read and write the English language
• Demonstrate good manufacturing skills
