Position Details
Third Shift (Nights); 3rd Shift: Sun-Fri 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM. This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment. Environmental conditions include the ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, adherence to all GMP safety standards, cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc. allowed), use of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.), and standing for the full shift.
What You Will Do
- Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry
- Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
- Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
- Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
- Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
- Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate
- Participate in Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and Kaizen events
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- No work experience required
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Follow all safety protocols
- Drive quality in all activities
- Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
- Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
- Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as production demands
- Clean-room is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity with low ambient noise
- Specific gowning is required including gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry
- Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene
