Location

Millersburg, PA — Single-Use manufacturing locations.

Work Schedule and Environmental Conditions

• Third Shift (Nights) — 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Sunday–Friday).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
• Cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc. allowed.
• Some PPE required: safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product.
• Manually assemble tubing and connectors used in the medical industry.
• Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures.
• Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint.
• Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements.
• Drive safety culture and quality in all activities.
• Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate.
• Participate in Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and Kaizen events.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

Education and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Required - No previous work experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Follow all safety protocols.
• Drive quality in all activities.
• Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping.
• Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
• Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as needed for production schedule adherence.
• The clean-room is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity with low ambient noise.
• Specific gowning is required including gloves, hair and beard net, face cover, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry.
• Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
• Additional shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
