Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator III - 3rd shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.
The Machine Operator III is a senior-level role responsible for setting up molds and configuring injection molding machines for optimal performance. This position is Sunday – Wednesday, 10:00 pm – 8:00 am.

What Success Looks Like:
- Sets up and operates assigned machines to ensure consistent compliance with production goals.
- Installs molds into injection molding machines according to production specifications.
- Configures and fine-tunes molding parameters to optimize machine performance and product quality.
- Monitors production runs and proactively identifies and resolves issues.
- Conducts regular inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Collaborates with engineering, production, and leadership teams to address process-related concerns.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
Your Credentials:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred but not required.
The hourly wage for this position is $21.00/hr, which includes $1.00/hr for shift premium for eligible hours worked.
