Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist, under supervision, administers radiation treatments, ensuring precise beam positioning and accurate dose delivery. Adheres to US Oncology Compliance Program, including ethical standards.

• Deliver and record radiation treatments accurately under supervision.
• Maintain patient treatment parameters in electronic records.
• Assist in scheduling and billing processes.
• Prepare and cut blocks, make molds, and perform simple mu calculations.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• ARRT certification and valid state license required.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to sit, use hands, stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds. Vision and hearing should be corrected to normal ranges.
