You’re a key piece of the puzzle, taking great care to make sure everything is cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.

• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Wash and provide clean, sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils following Flanigan’s sanitation policies
• Clean and sanitize throughout the shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweep, mop, remove debris from the floor, etc.
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, and beautification tasks
• Prepare and maintain dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
• Stand and walk 100% of the shift
• Reach, bend, and stoop as needed
• Immerse hands in water frequently, using chemical solutions
• Speak, read, and write English
• Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift, and place heavy loads on high shelves, coolers, and freezers
• Work in damp, high-temperature indoor environments and minimally outdoors
• Handle hot plates, pots, and pans safely
• Use sharp knives and utensils safely
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass a food safety certification program in accordance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Work a five-day week with two consecutive days off
• Receive paid vacation: one week after one year, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years
• Enjoy a Christmas bonus after one year of employment (equivalent to one week’s pay)
