This is a hands-on role focused on mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance to keep production and packaging equipment running at peak performance, with strong emphasis on troubleshooting, safety, and continuous improvement.

Job Details

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Oak Creek, WI

Pay: $39.00 – $42.00/hour (based on experience) + $3/hr shift differential + $1,000 hiring bonus

Schedule: 3rd shift (10:30PM – 7:00AM)

What You’ll Do

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Use CMMS to track work orders, schedules, and completed tasks.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
• Support equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, SQF, and company safety standards.
• Keep work areas, tools, and spare parts organized.
• Participate in team huddles, audits, and improvement initiatives (Kaizen, TPM).

Equipment You’ll Work On

• Safety circuits, vacuum conveyors, refrigeration systems, heated sealers
• Pumps, compressors, pneumatic systems

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food or high-speed packaging preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics, AC/DC motors, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance best practices (TPM, RCM, RCFA).
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical & Work Conditions

• Hands-on role in both office and production environments.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs; exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
