Our company is seeking highly motivated individuals with expertise in effective hotel operations. The ideal candidates should have a passion for hospitality that fosters an exceptional guest experience. This position offers an immediate opportunity to join our team as a Night Auditor.

The Night Auditor will be responsible for managing desk operations from 11:00pm to 7:00am and informing management of any guest issues requiring immediate attention. Key duties include:

  1. Handling guest check-ins and checkouts efficiently and professionally.
  2. Organizing shift activities and reviewing upcoming reservations.
  3. Verifying no-shows and completing walk-in guest reports.
  4. Ensuring credit card drafts are balanced.
  5. Filing credit cards, keys, and reports.
  6. Preparing express checkout envelopes and coordinating with housekeeping/security.
  7. Assisting guests with services like check cashing, making change, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  8. Backing up the Property Management System nightly.
  9. Handling wake-up calls promptly.
  10. Completing security reports on unusual events.
  11. Managing mail, messages, and guest billing accurately.
  12. Reconciling accounts and balancing credit card transactions.
  13. Preparing daily revenue and status reports.
  14. Reporting on checkout and room readiness statuses.
  15. Monitoring night shift staff to ensure duties are completed.
  16. Representing the hotel in guest complaint situations.
  17. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior front desk experience.
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel-specific applications.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Leadership, training, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
