Job Summary
A Warehouse Sequencer is responsible for arranging automotive products / parts in a specified order for just in time delivery for production assembly. This position requires a high-level attention to detail to yield safe and accurate results.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to read and follow procedures as per provided training.
- Use of a computer and RF scanner.
- Scan all required containers to determine appropriate contents and end destination.
- Receive product and verify its contents.
- Visually inspect products / parts for end of line testing.
- Apply label to product according to customer specifications.
- Ability to read results from testing and determine when to notify a member of management immediately.
- Identify damaged, lost or missing products and notify a member of management immediately.
- Maintain accurate and organized production records.
- Treat product with care and concern at all times.
- Follow all company standards of conduct and safety rules and policies.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Manager or Team Lead.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months of experience with quality inspection in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Experience utilizing a Warehouse Scanning Device.
- Experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) skills.
- A combination of acquired education and equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk throughout the square footage of the warehouse environment and stand and/or work on feet during the assigned shift hours.
- Ability to bend safely, lift and carry objects and/or product weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to hear power equipment alarm signals.
Environmental Considerations
General work area is in a warehouse environment, mostly indoors with some outdoor exposure. Facility is non-temperature-controlled space.
