Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a secure and positive impression of Target Center. This is achieved by providing accurate event information and assisting with security questions. The role requires working cohesively with all employees to maintain high guest service standards.

Starting Wage: $18/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a secure and positive first impression by offering superior, individualized service.
• Monitor entry and exit points, including screening guests' bags.
• Provide accurate event and arena information to guests.
• Enforce facility policies (e.g., no smoking, no re-entry).
• Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuation procedures.
• Handle patron problems and escalate issues to Security Supervisors when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Understanding of Security Chain of Command.
• Eligibility to work as a protective services employee under Minnesota law.

Preferred Qualifications

• Law enforcement, military background, or related experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, dark areas, and around crowds.
• Continuous standing, walking, and stair navigation.

Additional Comments

• This is a part-time position aligned with the event calendar, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
