Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a

Journeyman Electrician – Salina, KS

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our facility in Salina, KS.

This role works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus occasional overtime as required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance
• Willing to learn and/or work on mechanical/electrical hardware CNC and PLC troubleshooting
• Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills
• Maintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs
• Ability to perform electronic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments
• Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures are maintained
• Help with scheduling down time for machine repairs or preventive maintenance
  
  

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of an electrical license
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills preferred
• Provide tools for the trade
