Overview

R+L Carriers is seeking an organized and proactive Graphic Designer at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The Graphic Designer will support the marketing team by developing print and online design solutions that align with corporate communications, training, and marketing strategies. This role involves providing creative solutions across various print and web projects, managing the entire production process from concept to final delivery, including effectively managing multiple projects at different stages, maintaining strong organizational skills, and paying close attention to detail when proofing content. In this role, you will collaborate with team members and leadership at all levels, and consistently update project progress using our collaborative project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing team by developing print and online design solutions that align with corporate communications, training, and marketing strategies.
• Create and maintain engaging digital content for stakeholders and ensure projects adhere to brand standards and processes for quality outcomes.
• Manage the entire production process from concept to final delivery across various print and web projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects at different stages with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership at all levels and provide project updates using collaborative project management tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years’ professional experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio across print and digital media.
• Compelling design and typography skills with the ability to communicate through visual messaging.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative to embrace challenges for successful outcomes.
• Ability to develop good rapport with staff and vendors to meet customer expectations.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Web, Graphic Design, or Electronic Media.
• Willingness to accept and respond to creative direction and a passion for ongoing learning and innovation in design.

Preferred

• Knowledge of prepress processes and print file preparation.
• Experience with photography, videography/editing, or digital signage is beneficial but not required.
• Exposure to UX/UI tools (e.g., Figma) or basic understanding of HTML/CSS is advantageous but not essential.
