Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and strong experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities Work in a large, dynamic IR division in a hospital setting Covers IR, CT-guided procedures, vascular surgery, cardiac hybrid procedures, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic interventions Patient care includes diagnostic and interventional angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula work, and Y90/SIRT procedures Day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Uses Epic charting system Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and technologists Engage in continuous education and support of advanced procedures across the hospital's IR services Public transportation and paid parking options are available; no validated parking is provided No religious or medical exemptions for vaccination requirements are accepted Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration Scrub attire required per department guidelines Requirements Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification required Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License required (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted) BLS certification required (AHA only accepted) Previous experience in neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgical imaging is required Experience with diagnostic and interventional IR procedures is required Proof of MA licensure required at time of consideration Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required; no exemptions allowed License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-599988.
