Treasury Management - Senior Payables Product Manager

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager for Payables within Treasury Management, you will work closely with Sales, Product, and Technology to refine, partner, or develop a payables platform which will connect with our online platform solution, capable of integrating with multiple vendors to provide a cohesive billing and analysis experience for treasury management solutions. You will report to the Corporate Product Solutions - Lead for Payables.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Partner with supervisor to create a strategic plan for the assigned solution. Actively collaborate in the development, implementation and roll-out for new business products and product enhancements, including pricing, agreements, implementation documents, and standards.

Vendor Partnership: Monitor and manage vendor relationships associated with Merchant service solutions, ensuring relationships are created and maintained, taking appropriate action to ensure goals are achieved, and escalating to the assigned team lead when goals are not achieved.

Operational: Interface with appropriate business lines to ensure technical support and resources for new or enhanced product/services delivered to the Sales Teams. Apply sales cycle knowledge including sales planning, sales approach, and providing solutions to business customers of all sizes. Manage new product development from concept to delivery by way of a business case (if new product or feature) and collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance and Product. Refine operational duties to identify systems issues and triage/resolution to ensure excellent customer service. Document processes and procedures with Risk Management, Legal, Compliance and product teams. Develop processes for measuring trends and patterns relative to product/services, competitive patterns, market share, and market perception and image.

Governance: Participate in audits and other special projects.

Required Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Data Science/Analytics.

Minimum experience: 8+ years treasury management experience with Commercial Merchant Services and Credit Card acceptance expertise at the client level.

Minimum banking experience: 5+ years including leadership of treasury management sales and customer service teams.

Direct involvement with Receivables Networks (e.g., AFP, S&P Global Reporting, VISA/Mastercard) and experience with Core DDA and client-side ERP/accounting systems.

Extensive experience in C-suite level client calling.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) preferred.

Job Competencies

Expertise in cash flow management, accounting processes, and financial optimization.

Knowledge of value propositions for treasury management applications within a corporate treasury environment.

Understanding of business and banking regulations (e.g., UCC, Reg CC, Reg E) and regulatory guidance/oversight.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to foster internal and external collaborative partnerships delivering value for customers and the organization.

Commitment to ongoing knowledge growth in treasury management products and services.

Sales/negotiation aptitude and ability to communicate at a senior executive level.

Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve service challenges or develop solutions.

Detailed expertise in wholesale receivables/payables solutions.
