Established over 20 years ago, our client is recognised as a market leading mechanical and electrical contractor throughout the UK. With a specialism in large scale commercial office, residential and datacentres projects.\n\nAs a result of investment and improving market conditions their 2025 turnover is expected to be in the region of £100M, As a result, they are actively looking to recruit for their operational team.\n\nRole: Mechanical Construction Manager – Northampton – £75,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience)+ £4,000 Car Allowance + Full Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus\n\nProject: £12M MEP package. The project is an infrastructure upgrade for a development in Northampton inclusive of luxury lodges and amenity areas.\n\nRole/Responsibilities:\n\n * Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)\n\n * Short term programming.\n\n * Health & Safety (RAMS).\n\n * Technical Submissions.\n\n * Preparation/issuing all RFI.\n\n * Sub-contractor coordination.\n\n * Management of commissioning stages\n\n * Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors\n\n * Management of testing and isolation process\n\n * Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\n * Experience working in the commercial sector, specifically on plant rooms and risers\n\n * Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M within your own discipline\n\n * A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role\n\n * Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg, Mace, Wates, etc.\n\nIn return they offer:\n\n * A healthy pipeline of work\n\n * Join a stable business who have an excellent staff attrition rate.\n\n * A very competitive basic salary and package\n\n * Our client are keen to promote from within and this position is no exception, with opportunities to progress into a project management capacity
