Job Description
Lead all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project execution. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent and constructability. Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, scope alignment, and performance oversight. Oversee project schedules, budgets, change orders, and cost controls, ensuring accurate reporting and financial performance. Monitor field operations to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards. Provide leadership to project teams, including assistant project managers, engineers, and superintendents. Resolve project challenges proactively, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Lead project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty compliance. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of progressive project management experience
with ground-up commercial construction. Demonstrated success managing
projects in the $10M-$100M range . Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost management. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar). Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Deep understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards. Experience working in the Portland, Oregon market preferred. What's on Offer
