Position Overview:
As a Construction Manager, you will oversee all aspects of construction for high-end custom homes from groundbreaking to final walkthrough. You will manage job site operations, coordinate with subcontractors and consultants, maintain schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day construction activities on multiple high-end custom home projects
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel
Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure safety compliance
Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain clear communication
Maintain accurate job logs, reports, and documentation
Track and manage project budgets and costs, addressing any variances proactively
Represent the company professionally to clients, inspectors, and partners
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential construction, with a strong background in luxury custom home building
Proven ability to manage high-end, detail-oriented projects from start to finish
In-depth knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, and building codes (Florida Building Code preferred)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Tech-savvy with familiarity in construction management software is a plus
OSHA certification or other safety training preferred
