Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Insurance Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions tailored to the insurance industry. This role serves as a strategic advisor to both business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution across agency transformation and customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Strategy & Architecture
Define and own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture for agency journey and related insurance solutions.
Lead solution ideation, feasibility analysis, and fit-gap assessments.
Develop architecture guardrails and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Domain Expertise
Act as a subject matter expert in life, health, and general insurance domains.
Focus on distribution transformation across the agency lifecycle (e.g., recruitment, training, leads management, performance management, reporting).
Leverage Salesforce platforms such as Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Technical Leadership
Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration patterns.
Guide development teams on Apex, Lightning Components, APIs, and data modeling.
Oversee solution implementation, customization, and deployment.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with business units, product owners, and project managers.
Present architectural decisions and roadmaps to senior leadership and architecture committees.
Quality & Governance
Establish and enforce solution design standards and documentation practices.
Conduct design reviews, performance assessments, and security audits.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design, with at least 5 years in Salesforce implementations.
Strong understanding of insurance business processes and regulatory requirements, especially in distribution and agency transformation.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integration tools (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Kafka).
Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect.
Preferred
Experience with InsurTech platforms and digital transformation programs.
Familiarity with SOC 2, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, MS Visio, and OneView.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to mentor junior architects and developers.
