Our client, a leader in custom retail fixtures and architectural millwork, is looking for a
Project Manager / Account Manager
to join their growing team. This is a
direct hire
opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
This is an on-site role based in Amityville, NY. Remote work is not available.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive
Project Manager / Account Manager
with a strong background in
retail fixture manufacturing or architectural millwork . In this cross-functional role, you’ll be the central hub between clients and internal teams—from reviewing RFQs and managing purchase orders to overseeing production and ensuring timely delivery.
If you’re highly organized, technically savvy, and enjoy bringing custom fabrication projects to life, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for key retail clients and project stakeholders
Review architectural drawings and perform material take-offs for custom casework and fixtures
Process purchase orders and release orders with accuracy and timeliness
Oversee multiple custom fabrication projects from concept through delivery
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production to meet project goals and budgets
Manage change orders and scope adjustments as needed
Monitor project timelines, production schedules, and delivery logistics
Conduct site visits to client HQs or retail locations as required
Ensure quality standards are met throughout all phases of production and installation
Maintain up-to-date project records using ERP or job tracking systems
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in project or account management within millwork, woodworking, or retail fixture production
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop blueprints
Familiarity with materials and manufacturing processes (wood, metal, acrylic, etc.)
Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and project tracking tools
Comfortable multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
Must be able to work on-site daily in Amityville, NY
Qualifications:
Experience managing custom retail fixture rollout programs
Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems
Background in material sourcing and vendor coordination
