As the Head of Engineering - Intelligent Automation, you will lead the development and implementation of enterprise initiatives including digital assistants, automation solutions, and intelligent self-service technologies. Your role is pivotal in understanding the impact of technology on Guardian’s business portfolio. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technology partners to develop and integrate automation solutions that drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and reduce operational costs. Strategic leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation and AI strategy aligned with business objectives and emerging technology trends. Solution development: Design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation, digital assistants, and self-service solutions focused on automation and natural language processing. Automation integration: Oversee attended and unattended bots, process automation, and workflow improvements to enhance performance and reduce Average Handling Time (AHT). Stakeholder collaboration: Work with engineering, product management, customer experience, and IT to integrate solutions into existing platforms and contact center operations. Security & compliance: Ensure initiatives meet data protection standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise security. Performance monitoring & continuous improvement: Define KPIs, monitor initiatives, optimize outcomes, and assess business impact. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, management, or related field. Proven experience in automation and AI, solution engineering, preferably in customer engagement and digital assistants. Strong expertise in conversational technology and automation of processes. Experience deploying enterprise-grade automation solutions at scale. Ability to analyze and measure technology impact on customer self-service and operational efficiency. Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive innovation. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Experience working with remote teams in a matrixed environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge business and technology. Location
