Science and Technology Corporation (STC) is seeking a
Deputy Program Manager (DPM)
to support the
Atmosphere Support (ATMOS) Contract
at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The DPM will play a central role in program execution, ensuring scientific teams receive comprehensive program, staffing, and financial information to effectively meet ATMOS task order requirements. This position directly supports the Program Manager and manages Group Leads in workforce planning, optimization, hiring, and development to advance NASA's atmospheric science mission.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide program information (staffing, financial, and resource data) to optimize task order execution across ATMOS. Lead workforce planning and optimization using iSite data to forecast needs and manage resources. Coordinate hiring, retention, and training activities with HR and recruitment teams. Evaluate workforce capabilities and ensure alignment with emerging technologies, tools, and Code 610.AT requirements. Act as Group Lead (GL) for Mission Support TOs and selected tasks (e.g., cross-enterprise initiatives), managing performance, deliverables, and collaboration with NASA stakeholders. Support Program Manager with reporting, risk tracking, and performance oversight. Manage Group and Task Leads, and collaborate with Lab leadership, Chief Scientist, and other stakeholders to ensure clear, transparent communication. Contribute to strategic planning, innovation initiatives, and talent pipeline development, including supporting staff conversion to NASA Civil Servant roles. Benefits:

Demonstrated experience in
program management or deputy program management
roles for large-scale government contracts. Strong background in
workforce planning, staff development, and optimization . Proven ability to
lead cross-functional teams
and collaborate with technical subject matter experts. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Familiarity with NASA environments, task order execution, and performance reporting tools (e.g., iSite) preferred. Background in atmospheric or environmental sciences preferred. Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Management, Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or related field
(Master's preferred). Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
