Role Overview The Finance Manager will drive investment analysis, financial modeling, and capital structuring that guide strategic growth. In this role, you’ll work closely with the investment committee and collaborate with Project Finance and M&A teams to provide insights that shape critical business decisions. The position offers direct deal experience in renewable energy finance and the opportunity to influence investment choices. It’s a chance to play a key role in ensuring capital is allocated effectively and long-term value is maximized. Duties & Responsibilities Develop, review, and update advanced financial models, incorporating return metrics, tax equity structures, and a variety of capital structuring assessments Analyze potential investments from financial, tax, and accounting standpoints, tailoring recommendations for optimal outcomes Present insights and proposals clearly to senior leadership Perform strategic evaluations to uncover opportunities across the combined retail and generation businesses, assessing markets, revenue frameworks, and contractual terms that drive maximum value Oversee the investment committee workflow, ensuring project analyses and models are delivered with accuracy and on time Assess risks tied to projects and advise on the best structures for financing and investment, working closely with M&A, project finance, and development teams Coach and support junior staff members, sharing expertise on modeling approaches and analytical methods Partner with corporate development to contribute to broader company initiatives Safeguard precision and consistency across all financial models and related analyses Qualifications Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a similar discipline; an MBA or other advanced credential is a plus Extensive background in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally within the energy or infrastructure industries Capable of working autonomously while engaging effectively with cross-functional teams Skilled at guiding and developing junior colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing Expertise in building complex financial models Strong grasp of capital formation strategies and risk assessment Exceptional precision, with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Seniority level
