Principal Duties

Supervises and supports a team of Collateral Specialists responsible for reviewing funding loan packages to ensure closing documents are included and correct Manages assignments to maintain production consistent with team levels and goals Trains and mentors new team members Oversees reporting of outstanding document exceptions to avoid penalties and delay of loan sales Monitors new and ongoing document exceptions Ensures all outstanding documents are diligently obtained by Team Ensures established service level agreements Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred. Four (4+) years of mortgage funding/closing experience, (2+) years of supervisory experience Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements

Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs Display excellent written and verbal communication skills Natural collaborative approach to decision-making Maintain and cultivate an effective working relationship with internal and external customers Clear understanding of the implications of customer service Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner as established by company SLA's While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position's requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
