About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Security Manager (SSL)
to lead and oversee security operations for a key client in
Merritt Island, FL
. This pivotal leadership role ensures full contract compliance, operational excellence, and financial performance.
The ideal candidate is a
seasoned security professional
with a proven record in managing high-profile accounts, developing strong client relationships, and mentoring management teams. You will serve as the primary liaison with the client, ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and consistent service delivery.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational goals.
Provide updates to senior leadership using Salesforce and performance metrics.
Partner with internal teams (HR, Training, Compliance) to align with company objectives.
Participate in company and client initiatives, committees, and task forces.
Performance & People Management
Recruit, hire, and retain top operational talent.
Set, monitor, and evaluate performance goals for security teams.
Oversee performance reviews, professional development, and improvement plans.
Training & Development
Identify and address performance or knowledge gaps.
Ensure required training completion and promote continuous learning.
Lead regular meetings to communicate goals, share best practices, and recognize success.
Client & Operational Excellence
Drive 100% client satisfaction through proactive engagement and problem resolution.
Manage daily staffing and administrative functions for assigned sites.
Conduct inspections and ensure contract and policy compliance.
Serve as a key liaison between Securitas and client representatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field required.
5-7 years of law enforcement and/or military experience
(required).
Aviation compliance experience
is highly preferred.
Strong background in
security operations or scheduling
.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Proven leadership and customer service skills with strong problem-solving ability.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office, Salesforce, HRIS platforms, and SmartSheet.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Available to respond to emergencies outside normal business hours.
